ON HSD Coilovers

Hey all,

I've scoured the internetz but came to no avial in finding any reviews on people running HSD coilovers on the RX-8. I spoke to JRP up here in Toronto about Stance getting some Stance coilovers. JRP doesnt carry Stance but they said that the same manufacturer makes the HSD ones. I couldnt find anything to confirm what JRP said.

here is the link:http://www.driftworks.com/shop/p638/...duct_info.html

So has anyone heard anything about HSD coilovers, are they any good?

thanks again,

Dre

Just keeping everyone updated...i emailed Driftworks and asked if they were in any way affiliated with Stance, their customer liaison said "No " i don't know why the hell theres the smiley face but im thinking its against company policy to say they are affiliated...or maybe hes just being nice.

@Q-Ball - thanks for the pics, they look like a pretty solid coilover. sucks to hear about the car man.... damn haters

@Top Gear- i did notice that the rear HSD coilovers don't have the rear shock bump like stance have. Do you know if the HSD need them?

No the rears don't need them.. The top part on the rears mounts on the side.. And it's fine about the exhaust.. Just ordered re-amemiya header and exotic speed r2 carbon exaust with race pipe.

UPDATE!!! Coilovers are in, and they ride great so far handling is much improved. However one problem arised when installing in the front though, the factory strut bar gets in the way of the dampening screw so a small notch had to be cut on both sides. Ive attached some before and after shots. :D

I got mine from JRP Racing...I believe they have an American Branch as well heres the link...http://www.jrponline.com/

Anyone have any suggestions about damping setting for new coilovers? I read somewhere that it should be on the softest setting for about a week....

Anyways here are some new pics hopefully better then the others...enjoy

No one that I know of has pulled the trigger on them yet. it's just easier to go with something else here that is heavily reviewed.

They are the same.

HSD in Korea makes STANCE GR.

Outside USA STANCE GR is HSD.
