Wtf,
Car looks great.Love the wheels and the drop looks just right. What springs have you used and how do they ride and handle? Intrigued by your new flash upgrade . Can you describe what changes in power characteristics you feel with it and approx seat of the pants hp increase. What flash were you running previously? Regards Rexi |
Let me elaborate a little more.It started after we installed the springs, pads and wheels. Its good to have a friend at the dealer"who happens to be the chief tech"to get the tpms light off. When he was getting the computer he noticed the new disc came in for reflashes. After he got my light off he checked for new flashes. When the info came up said something about lost power in high rev band.I cant remeber exact words.
All i can say is now the car runs better then ever. |
PLEASE share the wealth and let us know how to get that damn TPMS light off!
|
I have no idea what he did.Ill ask him on tuesday.
|
Yes, I would be REALLY interested in how we did it too! That TPMS light is one of the main things that's kept me from replacing my wheels. It's been discussed for pages and pages on these forums, and no one has ever conclusively figured it out. If he did, and you provide the info on how to do it, you'd be giving us all invaluable information!
Sweet wheels too, BTW. :D |
I forgot to say, those G-Games look really sharp! Also, thanks for checking into the TPMS fix. There are a lot of us that will sing your praises if you pass it on.
Cheers! |
Ok i called Andy my tech on the cell since you guys are circleling the wagons here.He said that after you install wheels you have to reset ecu and it will see that the sensors are not present.I have not seen the light once.
|
Hmm sounds too easy. I've done the poor mans ECU reset (disconnect battery) and still get the light. I'll try again
Omicron? |
poor man's ecu reset doesn't work like it used to. this isn't your run of the mill 93 Integra :-) can't just pull blink codes and reset with a disconnect. need to get a CAN enabled computer in there and reset it.

Very nice WTF...great choice!:)
|
Those are HUGE pics! Nice wheels..
|
NIce to see the wheels finally on. It seems like it's been a long time coming but the end result is a sure thing. Nice is all I can say. Happy to work with you on the wheels, springs and the rest of the goodies on the car.
|
Nice
you may want to lower the pressure a bit to maximize those beefy blocks. What pads are you running? |
Dont tempt me :D
|
As far as the pads go the main reason i wanted to change was to get rid of the damn sqeak.Pleasent surprise on the stopping power increase. Also they do not shed dust as bad as stocks.
|
nice wheels dave
any smaller pixs how did he reset your ecu i hate my light flashing |
Can you throw out some specs on the drop and wheels?
|
by the way, car looks awesome. :)
|
TTTighttt!!
Now I know what My 8 will look like with the darker gunmetal wheel. I was thinkn the ssr gt2 or gt3 but those are sweet. bill |
