Hey help me choose rims....
I want a 19 or a 20 (mainly a 20)
these are what i have my list down 2...
RacingHart C5
(I think these will look great on the 8 but i'd rather a 20 but there my favourite)
Lowenhart LD5
(I Like these alot and they come in a 20 !!!)
a the moment i'm going towards the C5's as iv'e seen how the CX looks on the eight and i like

the C5s are nice...but i am unsure on the weight of the wheel. If the C5 is just as light or lighter than the OEM wheel, i would go for it. if not, i would look for something else. i opted to go for 17s on my FD, and it completely changed the feel of the car. the 17s were at least 3 to 4 pounds heavier than the OEM 16s, and it ruined the handling. after going back to the 16s (only about 15 lbs each), my FD felt like my miata. i would hate for you to experience that feeling with the 8. plus the expense too.
take a look at Volk, Advan, and SSR. those companies are known for light and strong wheels.
take care,

Those look great, but I'm a "form follows function" type of driver (that's why I love the 8 so much!). I recommend TE37s (gunmetal, of course!) or SSR Comps, GT1s, or GT3s (if you like the "multi-piece" style).

I gota agree that form follows function when it comes to wheels for me. yoiur have to remember that the larger the wheel, the more weight you add in rim and especially tire. Add rotational mass and you will see a definate decrease in acceleration and an increase in braking distance. If your willing to spend $ like a baller then look into some light JDM wheels. But if your just cruisin and like the style and don't mind the xtra pounds, then get your roll on.
