help dont know what to do with rims and my insurance

ok short story I had wreck my 8 last weekend now its at the shop now and the rims I have are discontuned and I can't find my reciept at all and the claims adjuster really doesn't want to deal with the wheels he's thinkin he can just buy a used one and then ask me do I have my stock wheel like I would want to put them back on if I had them which I don't anymore... don't know what to do.

Have parts dealer write an official letter detailing a "like kind replacement" with a price quote. It worked for me when some out of stock BBS rims got stolen off my Audi years ago.

thanks I hope that work for me.. Also I getting kinda fustraded be I had to regular steel wheel on the back because I had a blow out and just kept my rims on the front. and the insurance adjust is tryin to find all the options in the world why not to buy a whole set which would be costly he even metion to put a 17 inch wheel to replace my 20inch wheel on the left side but to me the dumb stupid and unsafe to roll around like that

i dont know specifics, but even if you dont have a recipt shouldn't they still be covered under the insurance because they are on your car now? if they are not too far beyond repair they might be able to fix them. check out Wheel Technologies or Wheels America.

Good Luck
