Help! Brake Light Comes On Randomly!

The Brake Light that says the handbrake is set, turns on/off randomly.
There is no real pattern to when it comes on or off.
Sometimes it lights up when I accelerate, sometimes when I stop, and sometimes when I'm driving at a steady pace on the freeway.

There doesn't seem to be a certain gear that causes it either.
I've had other cars where the light was also a warning that the brake fluid was low, but the brake fluid is in the middle between "Min" and "Max".

If the light is on, and I pull the handbrake and then release it, it stays on anyways.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks.

Check your brake fluid level. When its low, that light will go on.

I would start by bleeding the brakes. If that does not fix it go see the dealer.
