G Games on Lightning Yellow
I have been trying to sort out what type of wheels to purchase for my Lightning Yellow RX-8 for quite a while now and I think I may finally have a winner. My number one choice are G Games Wolf 77 Gun Metal Machined in either the 18 x 7.5 (1 Piece) or the 19 x 8.0 (2 Piece). I prefer the 1 piece wheels simply because of the price. I can get a set of 4 of these for about $1,000, while the 2 piece 19's will be about $1,800. Ouch!
Here's my question. Does anyone have a picture of a Lightning Yellow RX-8 with these wheels on it? If so, can you post it here?
If no pictures, could someone please, please, please, do a photochop of a lightning yellow with these wheels? I would love to see what I am buying before I go out and spend the money.
Thank you all!

RolenImportsRX8, I wholeheartedly agree that $1800 for good 2 piece 19" wheels like these is not a bad price at all. However, my conscience keeps nagging at me about spending any money on my car, much less $1800. (By the way, my conscience is named Maria and we've been married for 7 years.)

Hey, just thought I'd drop in my 2 cents.
Well to be honest I definitely would not be going into the single piece 18x7.5 or the 19x8. The 7.5 width is actually SMALLER than stock width and would make handling worse, handling being the key strong point to the RX8.
If you are moving into a larger wheel like the two piece 19x8, I would go with a larger width for many reasons.
1. Resale Value. IF or when you do choose to sell you wheels later on down the road to another RX8 owner, very few people are willing to shell out the cash for a wheel but with stock widths. Also, if you plan on selling to a owner of a different brand of car taking into account the offsets do work, many of the other cars will have problems wearing shoes larger than 19 and with widths of x8 (ie. Civics, Accords, etc). If the offset does match that of other mid-high end vehicles such as the 350Z, G35 Coupe, etc etc.. Many will not move into a 19x8 due to the fact that it is a stock width if not less. Your market for resale becomes very limited.
2. Aesthetics. The reason many people end getting multi piece wheels is to run those offsets that would give the wheel that deep dish look. Running a x8 would limit one of the key reasons why you would even want to pay for a multi piece wheel. Im currently running x10's in my rear with no rubbing issues meaning that the RX8 can fit some wide wheels. Why pay the money for a multi piece wheel if your not going to make use one of it's strengths?
I've always liked the look of the G-GAMES wheel and it is Ray's most cost effective line because the fact that it is a cast wheel. I believe I saw another person on the board with a gunmetal set on a Ti. Try a search out.
