Falken rt 615

Just got my Falken rt 615's put on the car this morning. Right off the bat I cant believe what a difference these tires make. The grip is superb!! A+ rating on these. I can see why so many of you guys have bought them. If anyone is looking to get a great summer tire. I agree with the majority, these tires are amazing.

How is the wet traction on these tires? I need a new set and have been considering these.

Ill be honest, I put the tires on saturday morning and it hasnt rained by me yet. From what I hear, they are suppossed to be decent in the wet. Im not saying the greatest, but suitable enough to drive should you get caught in a storm. A friend has had em on his integra type r since they came out and hasnt had any problems in the rain. Dry is where they shine though.

As far as tracking the car, I honestly havent done it yet. I really wanted to get a couple of sessions in this summer though. Im thinking of ordering a full mazdaspeed suspension (shocks, springs, sways) in the next month too so it should really make a difference. Car feels completely different just with the tire upgrade.

I would rather have the Kumho ESTCA's or the BF Goodrich Sport or KDW2's

But if you got a good deal I hear the Falkens are pretty good.

I ended up paying 171 a tire with free shipping. Much cheaper than the OE's

Those are some sticky *** tires. I considered them, but from what I've heard with average sports car enthusiast style driving, you'll probably only get 10k out of them. But, if you want sticky tires, you gotta give up some tread life.
