Factory Sway Bar Info Requested
I am looking for confirmation and additional information regarding the factory fitted sway bars on the RX-8.
As near as I can tell there are two front bars that were fitted, one for the standard suspension at 25.4 mm OD and one for the sport suspension at 26.8 mm OD.
On the rear, there seem to have been four different ones fitted. There is both a standard and sport suspension version fitted up to 20051001 and then a different standard suspension and sport suspension bar after 20051001.
I don't seem to find any information about a difference between cars with manual vs automatic transmission, just the standard and sport suspensions.
Would it be possible to have this information confirmed and also to get some dimensional information on the rear bars such as OD and if both are the same OD, what are the wall thickness numbers in the event the bar is hollow, one hollow, one solid, etc. Thanks in advance

all 6 spds got the Sport bars
Standard bars were on all early 4 port engine automatics except the special edition Shinka model
that may have changed when the 6 port/ 6 spd auto came out, I didn't pay attention to changes on those newer auto models
I have a set of Sport front & rear bars and a Standard rear bar

Thanks for the response. I did think of another question after the fact. I have a set of the RX-8 sport bars that have bright yellow paint markings on them near the major bend radius and I have a set of MX-5 bars from a sport suspension retractable hardtop model that have a medium blue set of paint markings near the major bend radius. What color, if any, are the paint markings for the RX-8 standard stabilizer bars?
