everyone's 20's on 8's

I was wanting all you guys to post pics of what your 20's look like. I am thinking about going with 20's. Could you also post all your pros and cons and your offset and lowering setups and if you have any rubbing or clearance issues at all... thanks for participating in advance!!! And also any tips would be appreciated...

Wheel: 20" ZINIK ADRIAN FORGED x 8.5 width... (dont remember offset)

Tire: 225/35/ZR20 NITTO NEO-GEN..

PROS: Stock height, no rubbing. More wheel = more show/shine/ whatever you wanna call it. You can do a minimal drop with the right size wheel/tire set-up.

CONS: NONE? Tires become more expensive by about $20/each. Would not suggest for use in TRACKING/AUTOX/DRIFT/ any sport. Wheel weight may be heavier by +/- 3lbs a corner (depending on wheel). In my case the weight stayed the same :yesnod;

FYI: I replaced my rotors with R1 Concepts PREMIUM rotors and they are lighter than stock which also reduces the weight on each corner.

Zumm are those really 225's? Hard to tell from the photos.

225 is narrow. Stock height is 45 =

225x45x18

I wanna drop like an inch and cram some 20"s into the wheelwells to give that sweet euro look too, but i'm worried about losing too much tire width and running a heavier setup....

But damn these rides look hot.

^my tires 225/35/Zr20 weigh 21.5 lbs
1 wheel of mine weighs 25lbs
= 46.5 lbs

STOCK tire 225/45/18 weighs 23lbs
Stock wheel weighs 22 lbs
= 45lbs....

not much difference, plus when you do like me & get drilled/slotted rotors you will lose another 2.5lbs per corner

Losing Tire width? LOL, look at Angel Joes specs again... its all about WHEEL OFFSET-

Haven't seen this posted anywhere yet so for whoever's interested:

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

You play a real good (or bad lol) devil's advocate, ZumnRx8! Sweet rotors too.

The Lightest performance 20"s i found on tirerack were still just shy of 30lbs (no i can't afford O.Z.s ;-P) without even looking at tires, and i was wondering if anyone knows what kinda rotational inertia effect they would have on wheel horsepower....? Its been shown that rubbing isn't an issue, i just heard that for every pound over stock you're looking at an exponential increase in inertial weight. Lol, if i had angeljoelv's 20b i don't think i'd be too concerned....

I guess I'm really just trying to talk myself outta just getting them at this point. :-/
