Here's another lightweight 18" option that I am looking at. The Enkei NT03+M weigh 19.6lbs each, and are about half the price of the Volk CE28 and SSR Competitions (both weigh 2-3lbs less than the NT03). I believe Tein had them on its RX-8, as did RE Amemiya.

i have also been looking at these rims because of the light wheight, but i dont know how the silver ones would look on my black rx8.

 

I never liked them either. I just want something that looks different than the SF-Challenge (which I have in 19"), is lightweight, a quality product, and would prefer that it be relatively cheap. These are actually kind of growing on me.
