I ended up going with 18x8.5 offset: 50mm. I didn't want anything too super aggressive, and wanted to retain everything that makes the RX-8 actually fun to drive. Let me know what you guys think
Looking forward to seeing how they look, I like the style. What color did you go with? And what do they weight?

I wish they came in gunmetal... I painted my stockers with anthracite plasti dip because I was sick of the silver on silver and I like the look (from a distance, up close I think the plasti-dip looks like ****). I really want to get some decent wheels but have the hardest time deciding on anything I like. I think the Kojin would look awesome in gunmetal.

My friend bought these for his Civic in the same sizing. I can't justify the pricing for these as they are not exactly much lighter than the competition nor cheaper.

Understandable. To each their own. Personally not a fan of the style unless they are in the wide and more concave versions of the Kojin. 5Zigen FN01RC and RPF1's are a good choice, but you also deal with the "everyone has them factor".

None the less, you really didn't go wrong with the Kojins.

I think they look good. Again I would like them better gunmetal, but still look good.
It's weird they almost look smaller than the stock ones, I guess because it's black on black...

Did you reuse the tires you had or buy new ones?
