Custom Painted Wheels: Need Opinion
I had an idea that I havent seen on anyones car yet, so I wanted to toss this idea around a little. I am thinking about painting my stockers but not just flat out painting them. I drive a red 8 and am thinking about painting just the inside 3 sides of each spoke black, so the outside of the wheel is still the silver color, but the inside of each spoke would be black. So A) I want to know your thoughts, and 2) I want to know how difficult it would be to do and what paint I should use. Also toying with the idea of running a very thin red line through the black around the sides of each spoke. Thoughts?

I think it would look good. But rather than paint, you may have to get them powder coated (probably big bucks). Otherwise, a good quality enamel like they use on tanker trucks would likely work well. You could test the look by using tape like automotive racing stripes or something like that. If you don't like it, peel it off.
