Well I'm finally in the market for some wheels. What I would like is an 18" wheel that's less then 20lbs and not overwhelming to the point of distracting the eye from the car. My 8 is Grey and about to be fitted w/ a Pettit front end, MS sides and MS rear. Budget is $2000 or less. Big fan of mesh but it seems hard to find anything light for a decent price. Here's what I've been looking at so far.

BBS RGR 18x8.5
SSR GT7-H 18x8.5 F , 18.9.5 R
WedsSport TC005 18x8.5 F , 18.9 R
Axis Reverb 18x8.5 F , 18.9.5 R

 

i'd probably go with the wedssports. they look awesome and there brand is high up there compared to the sse and axis. 2nd would be BBS. thats just me. i like how the wedssports look. but if ur looking for mesh style. BBS are great with mesh.

 

funny i have been looking at this also. except my budget is less.

dont no if they qualify as mesh, but you might look at the 5zengen heidlfeild. they come in at 20lbs.
