Why 22's is what I really want to know? OK you dont want gangster 22's but why want 22's at all? Your car will look silly with huge wheels as well as small rotors. I think you should just not do it. 19" ok 22's please stop.

22s fit with little problem and they look awesome. just need the right offset.

just expect a performance hit from those heavy rims.

Yes, 22" will fit, but a little known fact about the RX8 is that not all 22" wheels are compatible

A 22" wheel is only compatible with the RX8 if it passes the industry standard 'float' test, popularized by Carroll Smith.

Simply take the wheel (sans tire of course) to the nearest body of water and toss it in, if it floats then keep it.
