hi everyone. i'm from singapore and i've read this thread from beginning to end, twice. Once before i ordered my rims and once after.
i'm getting a set of 18''volks sf challenge - i wanted exactly the same set-up as rotr8 but my dealer says that 18x10, +36 at the rear will cause the wheel to stick outside the fender and thus i will have to roll the fender and adjust the camber quite a bit.
he recommends 18x8, +27A up front and 18x9, +35B behind. he reckons that with this set-up, i'd still be able to fit 235/275 rubbers and keep it perfectly flushed.
Seeing that many of you here are very good at recommending offsets, i'd appreciate your opinions on this.
Thanks.

What he recommended would be OK, but 9+35 (maybe there is something better but I don't know the SF Challenge sizes off the top of my head) in front and 10+36 in rear would be better. You should be able to fit 245/275 with a fender roll in the rear. edit: I'm basing this off a lowered car. What suspension do you have?
the dealer said since rays is ending production of the sfs, they have limited sizes. originally i wanted 18x9 and 18x10 too but only x8 and x9 are available now. so i have to make the best of those. the dealer also said he can fit 245/275 rubbers on those sizes.
i'm yet to lower the car but i have no qualms about rolling fenders.
