yep its galaxy gray, Yeah im glade i got these. At one point i was thinking of getting gunmetal or black rims.

 

Barrels painted, pic was taken when they were still wet, when dry they will be 70% Matte...

Looking good Rotr8. If 70% matte is another way of saying 30% gloss, then my 25% gloss face will have a similar finish your barrel.

Are you gonna machine the lettering and details?

 

Yup... the painter is taking his time making sure the details are all polished out and then another coat of clear,,,,

He was an ole skool hott rodder, It took two visits and about 3 hours of discussion to convince him to go this direction, he wanted to polish and chrome the whole barrel.
When he sent me that last batch of pics, he was pleasantly suprised and said that they look a whole lot better in person,,,
They be ready Friday or Saturday....
I CANNOT wait to see them,,,
