Shinka has a fat lip.

 

Hey guys I am finally a Rays Wheel Owner! I got them on Friday and had them mounted on Saturday. I will post pics as soon as I can get some good quality ones. The wheels look amazing! My wheels are: Volk GTS in Titanium Gunmetal 19x8.5 +36 all around with 245/35/19 Bridgestone Potenza RE01R Tires. All I can say is wow! The car accelerates much fast and handles a lot better since the wheels are lighter and wider.

Also, what do you guys use to clean your wheels? I don't want to scratch them or damage the anodized lip. Can I use quick detailer on them for daily clean ups including on the lips? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

FYI: i went thru a brushless car wash a couple weeks back....found out thats a "no no"...my detailer told me the soap they use can stain the rims...
he had to polish them out...big time...

I just got confirmed my new Volks got shipped out yesterday, they will be here by July 7th. Will post pics when they come in.

 

most of the volks i know are custom made (2 or 3 piece) and usually take 3-4 months to get unless you buy them used....

do you have an 8?

 

I got mine within 2 months. Ordered April 31st 2008; Received June 14th 2008. Guys I will post pics soon. I just had surgery and have had trouble accessing my computer the last few days. I just need to transfer the pics from my 3mp phone to my computer. Then they will be up.

I was quoted 60-90 days from a few companies for Volk TE-37's in 18x9.5 +12 so I got ahold of Japanparts and they said 10-15 days directly from Rays.

of course I have a baby called RX8 and I'm looking for rays but they are sold for 3000 euros here and I was wondering if there's a cheap site I can order them.

 

Where are you located? I paid a little over $3000 shipped from Japanparts.
