The wheels doesn't stick out the car. but if you want to lower your car more. don't even think about it. the from tyres rub on the inside ruber that cover the parkers lights that on the front bumper. the back i had it roll. but i use 245 and 265 which ings use 235 and 245. not sure if thats why. but i am getting 10kg spring for the front and lower more. so will see how it go.

BigOLundh 07-17-2006 11:51 PM

I will say those rims are very f'ing hot... but i wouldn't put +22 on a car that comes stock with +50

Even if it does fit... overtime your going to tear apart your suspension, bearings, etc...

suspension, bearings??

its just bad to use 22 when you want to lower your car.

Thats the only reason not to use 22. but other than that it looks hot to me :ylsuper:

I've seen some pretty ridiculous stuff on some cars hear in town. Putting a wheel so far out than what the car was normally designed for is definetely going to cause some stress on your wheel hub components.

ELITE-RX8 07-18-2006 12:21 AM

icic~~ but my is still fine. still inside.......

22 is ok as i said. but just can not lower your car that much thats all.

BoosTED 07-18-2006 04:31 AM

Like the car Elite!

Nicely done.

Staggered setup looks sweet.

ELITE-RX8 07-18-2006 05:33 AM

Amen to that. The higher the offset, the better the looks (especially on TE's)! They don't call it aggressive for nothing!! I see what you mean about the front marker light, that looks like a problem. Thanks for the response!

And the majority of the performance modifications we do to cars adds extra stress to the components. I'm glad people do it though otherwise there wouldn't be cars with aftermarket turbos or cars out there tuckin rim, etc. How boring would that be? :D:

Elite, not to be mean or anything like that, but I really don't think you have a +22 in the front, i've seen a +22 in the front and it doesn't look like that, you might have a +29 or a +30. What you need to do is take your front wheel off and read the specs on it. Cause if you were running a +22 in the front, you would have some serious rubbing issues.

It is. I did check it before i put them up. Its +22. It does rub abit when full lock.
But just a little bit.

And as i sad last time it rubs on the cover of the rubber for the parkers.

It is +22. I am 100% sure
Might be because my car isn't that LOW? i high it up abit already. coz was really bad when it was really low. only took me to dirve for 30km to rub to the bodykit.
But now is about 1cm higher. and i am getting 10kg spring for the front and going to low it after that. see how it goes.

after looking at it for a couple minutes, it does look further out than xdeedubbx's. must suck... lol. the wheels on the ings car is very tucked so there's a difference of height and camber. if you go lower, prepare for more neg.

yeah. agree.

Also ings use 235 and 245. but i use 245 and 265. thats also why it rubs.

XDEEDUBBX 07-19-2006 10:52 AM
