On these wheels they are a rare color combo, and regardless compared to any color combo other than bright colored wheels its not 10% as common as say.. all black wheels?

And I think the Redlines are discontinued as well, dunno they may be poppin em back out.

They are VERY common, look on rx7club or zilvia, a TON of people are on these more so than the RPF1's. Mainly because they are cheap as hell, and look good. Time Attack style is played out too much. They are not discontinued, still in production.

Both wheel options are about the same cost in this size/offset and both are common. Neither is rare, and neither is uncommon to have. Nothing special.

As far as color goes, regardless of how played it may seem, nothing is more played out than all black wheels and even more than that, black face with polished lip. Regardless there are less redlines made by an insurmountable number. That's not even up for debate. That was a joke about the rareness of the color hence why I said I actually don't care whats done to them after they are purchased, (paint them pink and stick them on a Barbie power wheel for all I care lol) and people should do what they want at the bottom of my post. (missed that did ya?) But if people wanna be technical, we can go there.

At the end of the day, its still just a wheel. lol

9.5-10 inch wide FNO1R-C's are timeless. No matter how played out or common they are, they still look awesome in pretty much any application.

that'll work.

mine are +25.

i think everyone needs to stop worrying about wheels being "played out." who really gives a damn? we all obviously have the same taste in cars, and given that, i don't think it's unreasonable that our taste in wheels might overlap occasionally. maybe it's just me, granted, i don't live in the heart of some ridiculous import scene where that type of retarded thing counts for so much. it doesn't help that the 8 is a hard car to pick out wheels for.

cliff notes: it's kind of stupid to argue about originality on a message board built around all of us owning the exact same thing.

Seriously, must have been custom ordered with a 12 month waiting period, this is the first time I've seen the black and red combination

FN01's are great wheels though - affordable yet stylish. Popularity is often telling of positive traits...

They would look pretty good I think. And yes 18x8.5 +38 will fit fine, even with a serious drop. You could fit 18x9.5 +38 if you wanted to also.
