Bridgestone S-02 vs. S-03
Im currently looking for some new tires and have read alot of good reviews on the Bridgestone Potenza S-03. I placed an order at my local tire shop for the S-03. I went in to see if they have received them yet and they stated that they could not get me the S-03 but they could get me the S-02 for the same price. Anyone tried the S-02's? I couldnt find much info the S-02's, are they priced higher?
Also, I believe the S-02 are not available in 225/45/18, and only available in 225/40/18. Is this true?
The S-02 look more stylish, but from the reviews they do not get as much mileage out of them as the S-03.

I looked at the RE750, but I wanted a Max Performance Summer tire. I live in Phoenix AZ and we have no rain all year and very hot temperatures. Have you experienced either the S-02 or the S-03? Thanks for your feedback

Between your choices, I would get the S03's.
S03s not sticky? That's news to me. There's no better road/light-track tire I've experienced ESPECIALLY in terms of miles. I've done thunderhill on Azenis...Guys w/ S03s were 'right' with me...and the tires last pretty well for a performance tire.
Just make a quick note that the S-03s are pretty heavy. Not too sure about the S-02s since I never had them. If I remember correctly the 275/35ZR19 S-03s I had were close to 30lbs each. Yea they are very grippy, they are great in the rain too compare with other Max Performance tires.
Excellent. Thanks for the advice everyone. Im going to stick with the S-03's after all. I dont like the low mileage factor of the S-02's and the S-03's seem to have everything I want in a performance tire.
im still unclear, aside from the difference in wear(the s03 having a longer life) which tire is the higher priced/higher end and just higher performance tire? there must be a clear answer to the question or else there would be no point in having both the s02 and the s03 in thier lineup
