That is a good deal and I considered it very seriously . . . but in the end, they have a special on the Goodyear F1 GS-D3's for $216 per tire plus a $40 cash card (so effectively $206/tire for four) so I went that route. I figure if I ever have a flat or need to replace a tire, it'll be much easier to replace the GY than a discontinued BS (this is what I was told by a local tire store also). Plus the bad memories of the OE RE040's still linger . . . In the end I figured it's worth spending $80 more for the GY's.

FYI: I believe Polak has a line on an incredible deal on these very same Goodyear's for a steal. Something like $170/tire I believe. I would have been all over that if I hadn't ordered my tires the day before I saw that thread!
