brakes

why is it when i hit the brakes at around 70mph, my steering wheel vibrates a little until i reach 40mph.. my car doesn't vibrate when i drive only when i hit the brakes at that speed. what is wrong??

Sounds like your rotors might be warped. Take it to the dealership and have 'em check it out.

Are you talking about HITTING the brakes hard or just slowing down?

I concur. It's the classic brake problem. Learned that in auto tech.
