Yeah switch to a Ceramic Pad.

RacingBrake ET500 or Hawk Ceramics are the pads to reduce the brake dust.

You need ceramic pads. Also the OE rotor can produce a lot of rust dust. Even after I swapped to hawk ceramic pads I had a lot of dust. At first I thought I had a bad set of pads but then after swapping out the rotors there was hardly any dust produced.

There really is not a 'fix' other than to wash the wheels/calipers often. It's fun and rewarding (nice clean wheels and calipers!)

The brakes are big and exposed to help cool them and so it's easy to see them (and why people paint the calipers). The pads whether ceramic or whatever are going to leave dust, IOW pads ---> dust! They get turned to powder in service of stopping your car. Our wheels (oem and most other 3rd party for the 8) have large void spaces that let the dust out to fall where you can see it/clean it easily.

The squeak is not a problem, it's a result of having excellent agressive brakes on a sports car. It happens with most pads to some extent, at some time, under some conditions. Other cars often have strong springs that firmly hold the pads in place...our do not have that, just little clips that let the pads rattle some and vibrate (noise).

If it makes you feel better, go to a race track and you'll find cars that squeak like hell most always. The 8 has more than a little race car in it
-------------------------

Look at some other cars...many/most have steel wheels with tiny little holes and a wheel cover over that --- so little dust visible.... or cast ones that cover most all the area --- so little dust visible. In either case then you don't see the caliper or the rotor - sad.

Hawk Performace Ceramic pads. Very Low dust and virtually silent. Good street bite too (not as good as track type, but then .....).
