I would but i'm not sure how that would affect my jDm percentage. I'm already slacking at 96.6% (btw, that is actually an exact measurement). Also, i think its nice to have some protection infront of the intercooler.

Thanks,
and i actually have tint. The windows are just rolled down in the pics. The tint is even on all the windows (i forget the percentage)

The intercooler sits right beneath the black bar now, if i were to take it off, it would just look very empty/dirty. Because of how the inercooler sits, with it on it looks very natural, IMO.

Update... i got a nail in my tire's sidewall... meaning i'll have to put a new tire on this coming monday.

The point of all this is... a new tire means the old tire will have to be unmounted, at which point i'll take a scale in and weigh the rim. This will be for the back wheel which is 19X9.5.
Results should be interesting.

Weighed the wheel yesterday. The rear wheel which is 19X9.5 weighed in at 20lbs. I'm VERY happy with that. IMO, Thats a very good weight for a wheel of that size.
If comparing to a stock 18X8 wheel that is 23lbs. This is 3 lbs lighter while 1.5 wider and 1" taller (3.14" greater circumference )

In other news... my 17X9 track wheels come in on Monday. Got the Enkei RPM2 for a real good price at Discount. I'm not a big fan of how they look, but its a good wheel for its purpose... so yeah, i'm pretty excited. I may get them powder coated bronze down the road, but at the moment i really dont care. Hopefully they fit, EEK!!

right...but the size of the tire probably makes the entire assembly weigh more than the stock. atleast that's what mine "feels" like

Yeah probably, but thats to be expected. These are just my daily driving "bling-bling" rims so weight wasn't too important for me, but I'm still impressed on how light they are.

I edited the upper post but probably should have made a new one.
I ordered the Enkei RPM2 in 17X9 for autocrossing and a few track days this coming season.

Nice BigO, and thanks for taking the time weigh them. It's safe to assume then that the front x8.5 are even lighter.

yea...i was really impressed on how light the sf-challenges were.
DanO - how much did the sf-challenge weigh in?
