Here's what they look like on a grey 8. Pretty good. Better on black tho. ;-)

On a grey RX8, I think the gun metal ones might match better...just my $0.02

Thanks TxRx8 for the pic. Looks ok but I'd have to go with the gun metal like Will Pwr said.

Wish we could get a pic or photoshop of the SF Challenge in gunmetal on a Ti 8! I am set to go the the SF's in silver but would really like to see in the gunmetal -- wish I was a photoshop guru.

Those are the best looking wheels I've seen on an RX8. Would you mind telling me the wheel size, offsets, and tire sizes...Thanks

Nevermind the wheel and tire sizes, I found your comments. If you have the offsets that would be helpful. Do the tires rub at all.....? Is the ride very harsh.....? You must have a full time job reading all the posts you pics have brought on. The rx8 already turns heads. Your ride must stop people in their tracks!!!!!

I have to agree with the masses here.

It is AWESOME -- looks perfect!

I have been totally happy with stock rims until now.

Wonder how they'll look on my blue ?

The offsets are:
Front 19x8.5 with +34mm offset
Rear 19x9.5 with +36mm offset

Try http://www.mackinindustries.com/dist_rays.html
or call SP Engineering at (310) 333-5398 http://www.sp-power.com/catalog/inde...76e07248ed85ab
or Options Auto Salon http://www.optauto.com/webstore/view...asp?page_id=12

Even with the wider tires, the turning remains about the same but with improved handling. The overall ride got slightly stiffer because of the lower profile tires, but I prefer that type of ride!

I would say you have one of the best looking 8's. Good setup.I was going to buy a silver or tit.grey but when I saw your 8 I had to get a Black one.

Thanks FE3P your car is by far the best looking car I have seen so far in this forum, or anywhere else for that matter. Do you have any further plans for it?

does the 19"and the drop affect your handling and low end power? i mean my friend have a set of 19X9 and 19X9.5 with JIC coilover on his Z, and he said that the car is slower in 1st and 2nd and everytime you go on those bumps, ****, it's killing you. that's why i'm afraid to the 19s, oh yea it's a TE37 with SO3s.

Changing to 19's with wider/lower profile tires and HKS Hipermax II coil-overs improved what was already a pretty good handling car!
Because the over-all diameter (wheels/tires) of my 19's is slightly smaller than stock, if anything the low end power should increase. Although, I didn't notice much difference.
With 19's, you will have to use more caution going over bumps though...

Will the 19's damage that easily when hitting bumps or potholes?
