So winter is almost here and its time to start searching for my summer rims. I honestly dont know what to go with. There are soo many nice rims out there. And after looking at a few brands, it got me thinking. Big lip OR Concave ??? What do you guys think ?? I know at the end of the day its my choice and im basically asking you guys to something kind of pointless but i just want a few opinions or other things to think about. Big lips are nice but there are some pretty nice designs coming out these days that are concave (ex. forgestar f14s). Tough choice

i vote for concave as well. RX8 is such a sporty car, big lip might not be a good style unless you are going for that VIP look.

Big lip wheel (VOLK GT-S) my favorite, WORK VSXX or the WORK Meister , classic

Concave, check out the newer release Advan RSD, RGD, WEDS, SA60M, SA55M ...

Man tough decision. In that case get both! I love concave wheels which is why my next concave wheels are the FN's. I want something small and wide for the track

Yea I knoww !! I've always loved the advan T5. And that's what I orginally wanted to get but after seeing some nice lips, I started re thinking my choice. Volk GTS are super sexy with a nice lip too. I'm also liking the weds sport sa 60 and 55 now.

 

I say a mix of the two, concavity + lip

I vote concave! Not only are they sexy as hell, but even Team should recognize that concave spokes that go out to the lip of the wheel leave more room for big brakes!

 

I like both and just depends on the individuals setup.

I think ill go concave. You can always buy neew rims . My second set of rims will probably be with a nice lip$

 

just use your own sense of style for what you want. no need to make any predetermined decisions about future purchases either because things change.
