Bedding Brakes

I just swapped my OEM Pads for a set of Endless Vito Nuevo Brake Pads...

I know nothing about bedding in brakes.

Is the procedure written here reasonable:
http://www.zeckhausen.com/bedding_in_brakes.htm

Pls impart your knowledge onto me

I did this on my last car (STi) and it worked wonders. I boiled the stock fluid in the process, and changed to ATE later that day. Much better pedal feel and stopping power.

I know of people who finished off their stock brake pads in 1-2 HPDE's. Mine still had half the material left after 4 days of hard driving at NHIS, a track known for its brake abuse. Whether that was the bed-in or my driving style, who knows, but the bed-in is considered a must by race teams and most frequent HPDE drivers.

And, FWIW, the process can be pretty fun.

Make sure you use the OEM anti-squeal shim. And remember which way they were on the front originally.
