BB with BBS LM Reps?

Hi guys,

Im debating on getting BBS LM Reps not sure which colour and what setup.

Right now my thought is a staggered set up

19x8.5 front
19x9.5 rear

They will run me around 1500 with tires.

But i was looking around and couldnt really find any pics with them on a BB.

I was even debating gun metal with the polished chrome or even silver.

If anyone could photoshop each colour onto a BB that would be awesome and help my decision alot more!

Thanks guys,

let me know your thoughts

Legit BBS LM's or CCW LM's are my dream wheels for the RX-8.

Aren't Varrstoen ESWhatevers pretty good LM reps that have been used in various offsets on RX8's? Look pretty good to me. I think they have an 18x9.5 et30 or thereabouts. Unlike some, I have zero compunction about reps as long as they aren't too heavy or too fragile.

Yeah they look decent from 20 feet away and as long as you never park anywhere near someone with real LM's. Shitty Varrestones are cast one piece wheels, real LM's are two piece forged wheels.

Luckily this basically never happens to most people.

Most people don't live under a rock. But yeah if you live in BFE and don't go to any meets or shows then yeah you are probably right.

Never been the meet/show type. And I'm mostly a function over form type, so paying 3-5x for a "legit" wheel never made too much sense to me. Not that I particularly give a ****, I'll probably end up with NT03's if/when the time comes.

Well you are paying for quality engineering, manufacturing, strength, and weight. But yeah some don't care. NT03's are one of my favorite wheels.

I'm just saying, for some, the rather pronounced price difference between a BBS or Varrstoen is much more noticeable than the more ephemeral qualitative differences of finish, strength (honestly, this is completely debatable anyway, plenty of expensive wheels have met their end on track or on a harsh road), and weight. Would I go for a rep? Maybe, maybe not. But I don't think shitting on people who go for reps is right. Be glad you can shell out the dough for Volks without hurting too much, not all car guys can.

Me personally, I'm much more disappointed when I see a **** tire on a legit wheel.

I have had two sets of Volks and have not paid more than $1500.00 for either set in perfect condition and both sets were bought on this site. Buying new, sure that is hard for some.

Totally agree. I'd rather find a quality used set of wheels then buy a cheap set of replicas.
