FWD cars wear front tyres quicker because they are the driving, steering and braking wheels.

Your tyres on the 8 should wear proportionately the same since the car is not blessed with tyre frying grunt.

Just remember to rotate the tyres every few thousands kms.

On most rear wheel drive cars, the rear will wear out first. I got 2X as much tire life on my front tires as I did on my rears on my last car. I....uh...."displayed speed" a few times. When you peel out, or you chirp your tires it is really coming of your back tires.
