Any need for rear upper spring perches?

I am putting some DA Koni Yellows with coilover sleeves in my STX RX8. Doing some research, nobody seems to make an upper spring perch for the rear of the car that isn't made of delrin or some other non-impact resistant material that will allow you to use a 2.5"spring with the stock upper mount . As such, I made some out of 6061 aluminum. Is this something that a lot of other people would need. Would it be worth trying to have a run of these made?

when the paint and more is scraped off the shock body you'll understand why its less than ideal, shock transitions quite a bit longitudinally as it goes through the motion range

seems like I read somewhere on here recently where somebody makes springs with a coilover type end on one side and the OE type on the other. Would be a much better alternative if true.

That would be great. Maybe I'll see if I can find it but until then, this is what I will use. Rubbing doesn't seem to be an issue throughout the operational range when installed in the car.
