Another stupid Question about strut bar

Can these go together?! (on the picture)

Greddy one is like floor bar, and MS one is tower brace.

I know there is a 4 pt rear one, but personally I do not like that.

Any one have both? or any idea about fitting both at the same time?

YES, you can use BOTH the Greddy and the MS. I had the MS and switched to the Greddy for more trunk space. Since I know how to install both I known they wouldn’t interfere with each other. The only thing about the MS is if you have the spare tire you will need to remove its support bar.

Thanks expo1. Actually, I don't have spare tire kit and. I do not much open drunk.

I was thinking to order Greddy and MS rear one.

Anyway...how is JIC rear one? It looks strong enough.....(JIC is floor bar like Greddy? right?)

but greddy one is look like...weak...but I do not think there will be huge difference..

I saw the picture that somebody installed JIC Magic(?) rear

strut bar. Who is it?!??

What do you think?
want to hear personal opinion.

JIC and MS rear strut bar vs. Greddy and MS rear strut bar.

Never seen that rear bar before.

Personally I don't think you need strut bars unless you are racing hard.

Sways are better.

Sway bar goes under the car and hooks together the actual moving part of the suspension. It causes each wheel to sort of follow the one on the other side.

Strut tower bars only stiffen the car. They hook the tops of the suspension areas together. In a MacPherson strut car, this can help camber changes, but in an RX-8, this just stiffens the body.

so would a strut help the drift of an rx8 or not? if so i have also heard that the best set up is stiff in rear lax in front? true false? best drift set up as it pertains to a nice drift?

IMO, doing both would probably be overkill and money could be spent on other areas - like sway bars - instead.

You're looking to actually enter your 8 in drift events?

I haven't tried this due to the wear on the powertrain, but I'd think first you're going to need a lot more torque to do this consistently well. Then a good drifting alignment and maybe some stiff sway bars like Racing Beat.

It's actually really hard to drift an 8 other than in first gear in a stock car, we just don't have the power to do so, if you want the tail to swing out easily, just add a rear sway bar
