Now granted the wheels on the 8 in the video are gaudy, but to have my 8 that low would be fucking sick. You can slam it low for parkin or cruisin on the highway, and raise it over speedbumps.

Bunique 10-07-2009 05:52 PM

that's nasty.........i get your point tho.

imput1234 10-07-2009 05:54 PM

airbags are dumb, just scrape

Fate710 10-07-2009 06:07 PM

you can get to a certain point though, that when your car is so low, its impossible to drive and you have to take the time to raise it back up.

With the air ride, you just hit a switch and it raises.

dhan 10-07-2009 06:22 PM

a buddy i know has it on his g35. can i say slammed? haha

its never impossible, I know people who can put a finger under their body parts, and it'll touch their bodyparts and the ground, and they daily and drift them, but they also have $1000 cars lol

Fate710 10-07-2009 09:51 PM

Thanks for the compliments everyone. My car is absolutely filthy here, I had just finished fitting the wheels at my place and cruised down to my friend's house. I parked and happened to have my camera so took some pics, here are some more :-D

Mike - We can *try* test fitting these, I don't know what's going to happen. It'll be fun though!

here you go, some of these should be better.

hey take a look at pic 5 - i know i need a roll and pull in the back...but the front seems fine EXCEPT this - seems like the tire is hitting the inner wheel well fender liner. can i just file that one little part down so it won't rub??

hey atilla! thanks again man, i coudn'ta done it without you bro. :worship: dude it's super wide. and i love the wheels. the tires so far seem great. can't push it obviously till i roll the backs, but they seem smooth and quieter than my kdw2's. better sidewall too!

I had a thread a while back on that exact liner rub and doubtful you can do anything about it.

hey thanks man! i'm super stoked with it. left rear rubs over bumps at speed, so i'll be rolling the fenders as soon as i can get around to it. otherwise i absolutely love the fitment. look mean as hell.

dude, you are awesome. ha ha. aren't you glad i finally got them so i can stop asking you questions?! ha ha. so i should take pics of my kdw2's, they were baaaaaaaaaad, like can't believe i was driving on them!

Ross_Dawg 10-10-2009 09:18 PM

Looks good man, you will probably need a slight pull in the rear if you decide to go any lower

oh yeah, i agree. well i'm as low as i'll be for awhile (tein s) but i'll still look into it. how bad (i.e. expensive) is a pull? i definitely need to roll the back, i had a quite a few rubs today when i took it out for a drive, but i think i could benefit from a slight pull on the rears too.

@!!narotordo 10-10-2009 09:42 PM

Oh god that white 8! oh god oh my god oh... K someone give me a napkin :)

it would sit lower if not for the wheels, what a shame. running those big ass lines I bet it leans like a mofo, I went with 3/8 on mine and it's pushing it, prob go down to 1/4 after Sema. :wavey:
