You guys need to calm the fuck down. As long as your sitting on high dollar wheels were all good. I have yet to see anyone here rolling on strasse forged wheels there sickkkk :)

JinkoMK 06-05-2013 02:09 AM

Let's get the thread on track.

The height is a lie. It's just leaning on one side.

yokohamaboi 06-05-2013 02:20 AM

Looks nice you should use a drill with a wire brush attachment to take some rust off the hub.

JinkoMK 06-05-2013 02:38 AM

I was meant to buy center caps ages ago but just never got around to doing it. Putting my money to better things haha.

Oh now we are going to nit pick the types of forging processes? I am aware of some of the different processes used by different manufacturers but rotary forged is still forged. My point is that you can get good forged wheels for under $2,000.00 new as well as even higher end forged rims used for far cheaper than retail. And as I know Tilt already knows from being in the business, not all high end wheel brands sell only forged wheels.

And Dan, an R6 is a kiddie bike, and chances are you don't track it as well. I am not impressed.

Ok guys too much cock wagging going on here... We ALL have opinions about wheels and manufacturers. OK we get it... it's been gone over a million times already.. Let's get back on topic for god's sake.. sounds like a bunch of salon shop hens cackling about purse being fake or real. The last few pages really much like this.

lets get back on track... Wheel/Tire size, Off sets, Fitment, Stance. Shit this says Aggressive Wheel Fitment.. Not Aggressive (No replica) Wheel Fitment.. Come On guys.. Lets do it for the stance...

Cant we all just get along?

9krpmrx8 06-05-2013 09:59 AM

This thread has been off topic for months. And I get along just fine, no one here is butt hurt, a little wheel education is good for all of us.

stewiefied 06-05-2013 10:05 AM

Mr_Pieper 06-05-2013 11:06 AM

Hey, quiet down over there THAT guy!

bose 06-05-2013 11:08 AM

Serious question, CCW Classics or WORK CR Kai ultimate or WORK Miester s1's? I need to step my game up soon and can't decide.:uhh:

Also is there only one 'THAT' guy, or is it like an anonymous group of people who all go by 'THAT' guy?

Danmn858 06-05-2013 11:08 AM

Niggas in Atilla. Err... Paris.
And rotary forging is still not even close to the type of forging we're talking about. It's a msrketing gimmick dude. That's why it's still so cheap.
Please just admit you're wrong for once, because you actually are.
But yes, no excuse for buying cheap knockoffs. Buy a good used forged wheel for near the same price, it may not look as spiffy or be in great condition, but you can always refinish down the line.

9krpmrx8 06-05-2013 11:10 AM

Oh man, for me it's CCW classics, there is a pair for sale here, a friend of Sifu's is selling them for a great price. They are a staggered 18 " setup but the specs are right.

One of those does not fit in. Way different price range than the other two lol. How much are you willing to spend?

You are wrong fruity, it is just a different forging technique, do some homework. You can argue the process is not as good as other forging methods but that would really just be your uneducated opinion. You could also argue that Forging is better than Flow forming but yet BBS uses that method in their racing wheels so......

Besides no one even knows TSW's rotary forging process as far as I know so how could one say whether it was as good or worse than any other method?

bose 06-05-2013 11:17 AM

Price isn't a deal breaker, those are just the wheels I like. I'll pay whatever I need to get the look I want.

Def been leaning towards the classics, they are just too sexy.

Atilla 06-05-2013 11:20 AM

Honestly - CCW's are one of my fav's but due to the recent flurry of rep's that have been coming out i've kinda been leaning away.

That is unless you wanna 1up the reps n' do a custom finish on them :D: more $$$ tho

The other two wheels are meh. Imo, if you're considering the Meisters, why not consider the s1r's? I prefer that face n' color options. just my $.02

p.s. - why no SSR love? similar price range as ccw's iirc. Or maybe some ADV.1's?

9krpmrx8 06-05-2013 11:24 AM

Oh man ADV.1's, I love them.

It's funny though, people consider Volks, Weds, Work, etc. expensive when some of the lesser known higher end forged wheels go for $1500.00+ each.

Atilla 06-05-2013 11:28 AM

no joke. I sometimes go onto ADV.1's website and die a little inside because of how broke i am.

bose 06-05-2013 11:32 AM

I'm with ya there THAT guy, Nessen is another that comes to mind.

Maybe I should reiterate, I will pay what ever price for wheels I need to as long as they don't cost more than my car. :lol2:
