Advise on Suspension and Wheels

Just would like to know what are the best Lowering Springs in the Market which Increase the Handling to its best and which gives the maximum Drop.

Also If am upgrading a Advan RS wheels what is the best spec I should go for

Should it be 18 X 8 or 18 X 8.5

Will 18X 8.5 result in Tire Rubbing.

thanks

I have a set of Tanabe Sustec GF210, it doesn't lower that much ('bout 1.4"/1.2")but you'll notice a big difference in handling. I do have the tanabe sway bars as well.
as far as tires that depends on the offset... 8.5 should be goodof your gonna stick somewhere around the 40 for the offset range. but personally, i would stick with 18X8 unless you wanna use wider tires or you're trying to go with the "flushed" look which you won't achieve on an 8.5 ...you need at least 9 wide with a 30 or 25 offset.

check the springs, springs, springs thread. You have to make a decision on what you want to sacrifice...ride quality or ride height. If you want to keep a similar ride quality to what you have now, look for a spring that has the same spring rate as stock. If you are more interested, or concerned with the amount of drop, find the one that looks like it will meet your needs.

As for wheel/tire combo..this is all up to you. You can do several different things, depending on your ultimate goal. There is wheel/tire weight to consider, replacement costs of tires, tire life...do you want to keep with 18's, do you want staggered....too many options...help us narrow it down by explaining what your ultimate goal is. Another suggestion would be to check the different "calling all (wheel brand)" threads to see what style/sizing you like.

Good luck.
