285/35/18

285/35/18
In the rear . . .
Tires - 285/35/18
Wheels - 18" x 9.5", +45 mm offset
Connor at TireRack doesn't know whether these will fit - I'd like to try but as soon as I drive with them I can't send them back.
Anybody actually measured? Have opinions?
(and no comments on how staggered is bad, or these are too big - I owned an RX-7 with a single turbo and 265s out back - car melted them through 4th gear - I've already ordered the GReddy kit and plan to modify it extensively, so I need some grip in the back).

fanman, you risk rubbing on the outside. with a +45 it's the inside he should be concerned about.

are you saying a +35 would be a better offset then?
