Nah, just get the Ebay ones, plenty use them without issue. But if you want to spend there are many options, I had H&R's they were fine.

Thanks 9k - one last questions if you'll indulge me. While I agree 20mm in the front and 10 mm in the back seems logical based on the offsets and wheel sizes, I truly don't have a good grasp on wheel spacing. When I measure both the front and back wheels by placing a level up against the car and measuring the gap from the wheel, I seem to get 15mm for both the front and the rear. I'm guessing something is wrong with this technique as that makes me think 15mm all around. If someone could shed some light on this for me I would greatly appreciate it. Pic on the left is the back and right is the front

Regarding the safety of using spacers, I came across this video. There is a GTR mentioned, that uses 2 x 50mm spacers in the rear (yes, that's 2 stacked, to give 100mm) on a car that produces 1000 RWHP lol.

That's just dumb.

You stated earlier in this thread you would remove them for track days, do you feel they are unsafe for this or just mechanically rough on the car?

I mean technically they should cause premature wheel bearing wear. But you would have to track a lot and honestly heavily tracked cars that don't use spacers tend to go thru wheel bearings so I don't think spacers cause any issues at all. I ran them for a very long time and I am still on my factory wheel bearings at 155k+ miles.

I'm running 245 40 R18s too. If I roll the rear fenders, will it still rub with 25mm spacers? I don't want the front wheels rub at full lock. What do you guys recommend for the front wheels?

It depends on the condition of your stock suspension, they tend to sag with age.

Shocks seem to be in good condition. Car only has 5000 miles. Would the front wheels rub the fender liner with say 15mm spacers? Don't want to eat through them :(

Just got Eibach 20mm (Type 4) spacers all around. No issues with stock wheels.
Be prepared to replace the factory studs if you are buying smaller spacers.

Just done this. Fronts poke out 5mm from fender. Rears are 5mm in from fender

Are you lowered? That's an important part of this whole discussion.

Also to reference the other guy, you can run smaller than 20mm spacers on the stock studs. I had 10mm bolt on spacers without issues and 5mm slip on spacers (not at the same time). Maybe he means bigger than 20mm slip on spacers would need longer studs which I would agree with.

Lowering the car does change what wheel specs would be flush with the fender. It is not about clearance. Also everyone's opinion of what "flush" is really can differ.
