245 on 9.5

Hey guys,

Im about to get a set of falken 615 on a set of rims 9.5 wide. I know alot of people run 275 or 265. I managed to get a good deal on some 245 so I went with those, I know its ok to run 245, but is should I have gotten the 265 instead? anyone here run 245 on 9.5? that could give me some feed back.

I know this is a dumb question, ive read alot of threads and people say that 245 is fine, I just wanted to know if it really is "fine" or a "fine" like you should of went with 275 n00b!

whats the height of the side wall? if it's a 245/40 or 245/45, you'll be ok. it's gonna be stretched, but the RT615 runs a wider (i believe) than an actual 245...

The 'Will It Fit' Thread would have been a better place for this question.

but since we're here. You should fit ok. I've seen people fit 225's on 9.5

Stretched isn't my digg tho...

lol why does it matter if you already bought the tires? Yes they will fit. Yes wider tires are better for grip.

I just got 245's put on 9.5 inch rims. I think it looks good. Helps stiffen sidewall with a slight stretch as well. It is a stretch look though, so if you don't mind that, go for it because it functions well...

Stretch is not good for handling and you will become a rice boy.
