235-35-19 on MRR design H2 wheels???

found a used RX8 i like. it has 19" MRR design wheels. the style is called H2.

the car is at a mazda dealer, they put brand new S03's on it, size is 245-35-19 all the way around. i don't know if the wheels are 19x8.5 or 19x9. the wheels/tires look good, when i test drove it i thought i heard some rubbing on some turns...

is this size okay or is it way wrong?

also, these are the wheels on the car.

no idea how heavy these things are - but i'm wondering how badly it will affect performance? they must be heavier than stock! reduced acceleration? worse handling due to increased unsprung weight??

i *could* get them to remove these, and eithe rput something else comparable cost on, or put stock OEM 18"s back on the car and maybe drp the price a bit.

my main question is whether these wheels / tires are correct sized for the car?

i've seen a lot of peple here go with staggered setups....which maybe is better for looks? i'd like decent looks, but optimal handling and be able to rotate the tires somewhat to get better tire life.

i'd go staggered if it was better for performance... is it?

assuming i close a deal on this car - BUT I tell them I want different wheels. they may NOT have a stock set to put on, but may agree to put on some aftermarket brand of 18" wheels/tires.

any suggestions on what I could work out? they may be wiling to do it to close a deal and I could get their wholesale/ cheap cost for custom wheels tires? i would want something light and good looking!
