FL 2007 Acura TL-S Rims

Ok guys

i am going to be replacing my Wifes TL-s rims with new ones, and i was thinking "HMMM i wonder if they fit?"

they are 17's with a bolt Pattern of 5 x 4.5 (114.3) which matches our bolt pattern

the wheel spec is 17 x 8,

i love the rims and would love to put them on the 8 does anyone have any pics?

ha ha.

for some reason i can't like those rims. i think the split spokes are so far apart that it makes the wheel look like 14" or 15". i bet you could sell them for a pretty penny to a civic or rsx owner though.

I gotta agree. I wouldn't put them on the 8, but try it and see what you think.

They are nice rims but I am not sure they would go well with the 8.

I think they would look great on a blue, red or white 8

Not bad, I'd be curious the weight though. I can't imagine it's light.

there's no way they are that heavy if they're forged. they're likely cast.

my forged 17x8 are 15.7 lbs.

yeah, about the same as the stock 8 wheels. So it's a looks thing. Other than the 17" vs 18". Put them on a take a pic?

Otherwise you might get some success selling them here for someone's winter set. If I was looking to drive my 8 another winter, I'd consider it.

they look great on a TL

On an 8, you will see how goofy they look.

Compared with mismatched cheap rims, I could still see someone taking them for winter wheels

Yup. Only reason to go to 17"s is for winter or track, and track you want light, so winter is the only real option left.

I just mentioned that because I have 3 knock-off tuner rims and 1 Mazda6 rim, all 4 beaten to hell and back. I refuse to take pics from the right side of my 8 with my winter rims on...too embarrassing.
