FL 2007 Acura TL-S Rims

Ok guys

i am going to be replacing my Wifes TL-s rims with new ones, and i was thinking "HMMM i wonder if they fit?"

they are 17's with a bolt Pattern of 5 x 4.5 (114.3) which matches our bolt pattern

the wheel spec is 17 x 8,

i love the rims and would love to put them on the 8 does anyone have any pics?

well you are the one with the TL wheels. Why dont you slap them on your 8 and take some pics.

ha ha.

for some reason i can't like those rims. i think the split spokes are so far apart that it makes the wheel look like 14" or 15". i bet you could sell them for a pretty penny to a civic or rsx owner though.

I gotta agree. I wouldn't put them on the 8, but try it and see what you think.

They are nice rims but I am not sure they would go well with the 8.

Not bad, I'd be curious the weight though. I can't imagine it's light.

they are enkei forged and weight between 23-24 pounds each

there's no way they are that heavy if they're forged. they're likely cast.

my forged 17x8 are 15.7 lbs.

yeah, about the same as the stock 8 wheels. So it's a looks thing. Other than the 17" vs 18". Put them on a take a pic?

Otherwise you might get some success selling them here for someone's winter set. If I was looking to drive my 8 another winter, I'd consider it.

they look great on a TL

On an 8, you will see how goofy they look.

Compared with mismatched cheap rims, I could still see someone taking them for winter wheels

Oh for winter rims hell yeah; ballin. But for regular use; bit of a downgrade if you ask me.

Yup. Only reason to go to 17"s is for winter or track, and track you want light, so winter is the only real option left.

I just mentioned that because I have 3 knock-off tuner rims and 1 Mazda6 rim, all 4 beaten to hell and back. I refuse to take pics from the right side of my 8 with my winter rims on...too embarrassing.
