Hi. The door sticker tire pressure is for your normal summer tires. Your reply did not indicate that your were going to change from 32 to 36 psi - so here goes .........
I bought my Dunlop M3 snow tires from TireRack. I asked Wes what pressure they should be run at and he replied 36 psi.
The RX-8 Owner's Manual on page 4-9 says:
"Inflate snow tires 30 kPa (0.3 kgf/cm 2 ,
4.3 psi) more than recommended on the
tire pressure label (driver’s door), but
never more than the maximum cold-tire
pressure shown on the tires."
So the manual is even recommending to you that you put 36 psi in your snow tires, not 32 psi as you're currently at . And those pressures are when the tires are cold - not after the car has been driven enough to warm up the tires.
