19" offset question

19" offset question
I am looking at a set of Volk 19" GTC's with the front 19x8.5 with an offset at +47(face 1) and the rear is 19x9.5 with an offset of +49 (face 2). I was wondering if these offsets will work and what size of tire would be recommended? I have done a search & found nothing regaurding my question, any help will be appriecaited.

they should fit perfect. I would do something like a 245/40/19 in the front and a 275/35/19 in the rear, that will keep the overall tire diameter within 1/10 of an inch front and rear

Actually they might not. I had a 19' x 8.5" with 38 mm offset & I had to put a spacer on it as the front rubbed the caliper. Rear was +35mm offset & it worked fine. You should definitely check as I think you may be scraping the caliper in both cases. I would go 245 & 275 setup, but only if you have not dropped the car more than 1" If you have they will rub. Also the sidewall height should be 245/35/19 (fronts) & 275/30/19 (rears). 40 & 35 would be for 18" rims & would be too tall if you are looking at 19" rims.
