17x9 63mm offset?

Heya,

I only found one mention of this in search, so thought I'd ask: has anyone successfully run 17x9 63mm offset (S2K fitment I believe) with 245/40 rubber? I've got a lead on such a package for next summer's track time, but want to make sure I don't buy something I can't use properly

I see plenty of discussion of lower than stock offsets, but nothing about higher. Frankly I didn't know offsets went that high.

Thanks,

I think it's going to depend on the individual wheel, but I would be shocked if you could get a wheel with those specs bolted to your hub with your brake calipers attached. Picture your OEM wheel with the spokes 13mm closer to the caliper.

Also, there is a whole thread for this type of question:

Those guys know a lot more than I do about this stuff.
