A Wierd loss of power...
so off and on for the last few weeks my car will just out of no where stall on me. It's the wierdest thing, and it only seems to do it after i've been driving for a while. I had this problem once before, but it seemed to disappear when i changed the intake, and reset the ECU.
I will be driving along for about 30 minutes or so at around 20-60 MPH (depends on how i catch the light), and when I see a light change to red, i'll push in the clutch, shift to neutral and start to coast to a stop...my oil guage needle goes all the way down and the car just dies. Starting it up again is fine, but i seem to have less power for about 1-3 minutes after starting it back up.
This happens more frequently now, but usually i'm coasting, and the light will change back to green, i shift to the appropriate gear, let the clutch back out, and the car starts back up again...this only happens when i haven't noticed i stalled already. I did some searching, but didn't notice anyone having this type of issue.
As far as I remember the car has never flooded. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One thing that i want to point out...i was having the problem before i had the SR INtake...i had the exact same problem with the K&N intake, and it only seemed to go away once i had reset the ECU after swapping intakes.

I tried the OEM intake this morning. Same problem. It only happens after i've been driving at high speed for a while. So getting off the highway after 15 minutes of around 80 MPH, and as i'm coasting down the ramp to a red light, poof, stall.

Momentum Keeps Me Going
I took it to the dealer, they looked around, couldn't find anything. And it never happened again.... let's hope you're so lucky!

it happened again this morning...so i don't think it's going away. I'm going to take it by the dealer early next week.
Mine worked great after resetting the nvram...but only until it learns...then I started to have a problem again...let me knowif yours comes back.
after i reset the nvram all seems to be good.. but i have not done any long drives where the engine heat soaks.

Mine did that a few times back in the winter. When the CEL finally came on it was almost like I had hit the brakes. The car lost all power but would put along smoothy until I got home. The next day the dealer first told me the code was for the oil meatering pump but after instection decided it was not that, and re-flashed my ECU. Seems ok for now, but I'm afraid to push it much. Someimes I can sweep the whole RPM range like it was new, other times it hestitates ominously around the intake valve opening events. I just cruised over the 50K mile warranty so, I'm hoping it's just my imagination :-o I love my car and it seems relatively healthy right now. I just want to keep it that way.
