Whats wrong with my RX-8

I'm thinking of sell my RX-8, cus it is becoming nothing but problems!!! well its **** for gas, everyone knows that, but my main issue is it keeps on dieing at stops. 45% when i stop its just dies. and it takes a while to crank it back, I know about flooding the enigne and i never shut it off cold, i rev the rpm's at 3000 then turn it off. What is the problem???? i might get the battier check, but other then that i'm starting to hate this car. is the engine just fucked? recall maybe?
pls help, this is my dream car, but its becoming a problem.

Your apex seals are likely broken, and Mazda will be replacing your whole engine and ignition coils for you since you're within warranty. Exact same thing happened to me, just take it straight to the dealer and they'll fix it.

now my engine light is on, and the dealer was closed for the holiday. would a compression test be covered under warranty?

All I have to say is:

Don't blaim mazda when YOU bought a used AT rotary powered car, and you have no idea how the original owner(s) broke in / treated the car.

I'm in the same boat. I have had issues (luckily, none in regard to engine and tranny) regarding the original owner of my car that I had to have corrected.

You live and learn imo. Having problems with a used car and a new car are completely different stories.

You could try to do the carbon cleaning. Almost every person I have talked to on here that has done it has noticed a big difference. I know I did!
