I just recently found an issue I'd been chasing and now have the engine bay stripped to the block(I am replacing two faulty oil injectors) and am sitting on my hands until those parts come in hopefully tomorrow.

So the question is, what else could I easily tackle while I have it this far apart? Anything that I might've overlooked cleaning/checking?

 

Are you talking about the fuel or oil injectors? Because I'm not sure how to properly clean either on my own, and there are no local shops that are willing to do either...

 

Hmmmm, wasn't really looking to have the car out of commission any longer than it had to be for the oil injector replacement, and it's back together now, I'll look into that for the next time I have it torn down that far.

 

i'd clean the intake manifolds (insides), and make sure all the valves are clean and move freely. make sure all the vacuum hoses are not broken
