Oh trust me, I know. I've spent more money "learning" than I'd care to admit sometimes lol

Anyone in here running an aftermarket system on a naturally aspirated Renesis that tracks their car?

How's that panning out. Still leaning towards LS coils at this time.

Many people here are running the BHR ignition kit for track events. Do your own research/ reading to get an idea if they are better, or not. I'm aware of a few members who have openly discussed their experiences with oem vs aftermarket on the track, but I forget what thread they belong to. Search through the racing forum.

Most of the threads I looked in were person A referencing person they read about on the internet (b) not a lot of first hand data.

As long as you've done your due diligence, what I recommend is either scan through a bunch of any of the aftermarkt coil threads (BHR, RX8Performance, SakeBomb) and see if you can learn anything from that.
Failing that, open a new thread in the racing forum and see if any members would chime in. But in all honesty, it's more than likely to start a flame war, just as this thread turned into... Ignore the rhetoric and eventually someone with FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE will offer you an answer.

I have 3 years and ~40 track days on my BHR kit with no problems. I just tested them in June as part of my yearly maintenance, and they all tested good.

The reason I installed the BHR kit in the first place is I discovered a dead trailing coil on rotor 2 at 18K miles. My car came with rev B coils FTR.
