Yesterday I was out for a rip when I noticed some odd noise coming from engine. I had just put on the air conditioner, which I don't use often, then the sounds started and there was trouble shifting. Car was idling very rough (right through to the stickshift that was vibrating a lot too). Except when it wasn't in gear. I also had trouble shifting and getting into 1st gear and I could not put into reverse. Any thoughts on what may have happened?
