Question Weird noise after pulling keys from Ignition

Hey, I have a 2004 6spd MT rx8 with 67k on it. I just discovered my car does this occasionally and was wondering if this was normal? When i parked my car and pulled my keys out of the ignition, i get out of my car quickly and realize that it seems like something is still "running" under the hood of my car for like a second than it shuts off. It seems like it is a delayed shutoff. Anyone else have this situation upon them?
Thanks

Specially when it's hot and humid... it's the fan.
