Just noticed a problem with my revs in the last week or so. Upon starting my car the first few minutes of driving the engine won't rev past about 6k. It will rev up to that point fine then feels like its gov'd. However after driving for a few minutes it revs fine. I understand I'm supposed to let everything warm up but havnt ever had this issue before. Also it may be of some importance to note that i live in canada and have driven it all winter in the cold (-35c or so) and now its finally warming up (12c today). My biggest worry is that it may be signs of something big to come and id like to take any prevention measures possibly or snag the issue right quick in the butt. let it warm up to operating temp before revving the engine. I don't know why you were fine before, but you will probably regret doing that...
Did you change any fluids? Check for water contamination in the gas? Air filter? ECU reset? etc??
