started the 8 up, drove for awhile then noticed the whole dash was inoperative except for the clock and radio station display. no sound from radio, no ambient temp, none of the push buttons worked at all. i parked when i got back to work and turned her off then turned the key back to on and everything lit up and worked fine. weird.

 

fuse box issue?

 

perhaps. maybe a loose fuse.

 

I had something like that happen once. My battery terminal was loose.
